Hey everyone! I lost all of the blogs we were following somehow. I am trying to get you all back, but it is a mess!!
39 weeks today!!! Hopefully soon, because I tell ya I don't know how much longer we can be on high alert LOL!
Tony and I were wondering how other people coped with the waiting? Any suggestions?
For me personally, I checked, checked and rechecked the baby's room for every little thing, and also took pictures of all the little things I loves, like little shoes, outfits, the crib, BEFORE the baby was in it. It's fun to look back at those pictures once the baby is actually using them!!
ReplyDeletewow 39 weeks...it's almost here!! sorry about losing the blogs...but maybe it'll give you something to do as you guys wait on little zoey. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's happened to me a few times where the blogs that I am following will go away and then come back on their own without me doing it. So, I hope that's the case. Your almost done with the baby waiting game.
ReplyDeleteWork...lots and lots of work...that was our coping method. And in my case, on occasional single malt Scotch also helped!

Really goood suggestions, thanks everybody. I am probably NOT going to die waiting. LOL.
ReplyDeleteIt only feels like you're going to die waiting! Get plenty of rest, you really are going to need it. Take some extra time to make up some easy meals to throw in the freezer so that when you are both exhausted (and tired of take out) you can just throw something in the oven. We took our IF's great home made dinners before we took our little vaca after TJ was born and they thought they were lifesavers when they got him home from the hospital and didn't want to cook much. Can't wait to hear that Zoey is finally here and see her beautiful little face.
ReplyDeleteLaundry. I washed every piece of fabric in the house in the week before I had my twins.
ReplyDeleteAlso, practice being kind to each other and talk about how you're going to divvy up the work. Babies put a lot of stress on even the best relationships. Add sleep deprivation and you will find you're snapping at each other over every little thing.
